Gatur General Conditions
Gatur offers comprehensive personally-tailored tours and hotel programs at competitive prices specifically designed for your needs.
Reservations should be made no later then 30 days prior to travel to ensure the best availability of hotels and programs. Reservations will be confirmed within 72 hours of initial inquiry based on availability.
Final payment and confirmation are due in full no later then 15 days prior to arrival. Included with the remittance should be the final passenger list, rooming list, passport numbers, and complete services required.
Our payment methods include credit cards and international bank wire transfers (see below). Rates are quoted in US dollars, and may be subject to change without notice.
Our Prices Include :
- Transfer to and from hotels
- Hotels of the category agreed upon beforehand
- Continental breakfast at the hotel
- Lunches at top quality restaurants and picnics when specified in the description.
- Transportation services
- Guides
- Entrance tickets
- Equipment as specifically noted in each itinerary
Our Prices Do Not Include :
- Personal expenses
- Airport taxes (International flight: US$28.24; Domestic flight: US$5.04)
- Excess baggage
- Transportation of animals
- Prolongation of visas
- Vaccinations
No-shows :
No-shows will be charged 100% of hotel rates and 30% of all other services. No refunds will be issued after 15 days before the scheduled date of departure from the home country.
Cancellations :
Cancellations of short day tours must be made 48 hours in advance. Cancellation of special tours, such as jeep trips, trekking journeys, and mountain climbing, must be made 1 week in advance. Otherwise the full fees will be charged, including vendor fees charged to Gatur Cusco, the cost of communication, office time, and any other related expenses.
Payment:
All payments must be made in full a minimum of 15 days prior to your arrival in Peru.
For International Bank Wire Transfers funds must be transferred as follows:

Responsabilities
Passports, Visas :
All clients must have a valid passport and the necessary visa, including those required in neighboring countries if applicable. Visas for citizens of the United States, Canada, and England are issued upon entering Peru.
Insurance :
You are responsible for your own travel and medical insurance as it is not included in our programs; please contact www.travelguard.com for rates on travel insurance.
Accidents and Illness :
Gatur Cusco cannot be held responsible for accidents or illness due to clients' negligence, inadequate physical condition, or the natural dangers of travel. Please consult your physician before embarking on any foreign travel.
Schedules :
Gatur Cusco cannot be held responsible for any expenses or inconvenience caused by late arrivals and departures of trains, boats, airplanes, buses, or any change of schedules and conditions beyond our control.
Baggage Loss :
Gatur Cusco is not responsible for loss or damage of baggage or any article belonging to clients.
Liability:
Gatur Cusco acts only as an agent for transportation companies, hotels, and any other unaffiliated entities and cannot be held liable in whole or in part for any delay, loss, or accident caused by fault or negligence of any person or company entrusted with the performance of such a service for whatever cause.
Gatur Cusco reserves the right at any time to adjust price, routes, hotels, and other arrangements related to our services in the case of unforeseen circumstances or justified cause.
The issuing and acceptance of programs, tickets, and/or payments implies the tacit acceptance of our conditions as stated herein. All information is given in good faith and does not constitute the basis of a contract.
